The Now
I signed my first professional contract at 18. Like most young athletes, I had talent - what I didn't have yet was perspective.
Today I'm a proud husband and father of three girls, and I feel incredibly grateful for everything the game has given me - the opportunities, the experiences and the people I've met along the way.
SJ Academy is my way of creating access. It's about sharing the lessons I learned through sport with communities and the next generation, in hope that some of those insights might help others on their own journey.
At its heart, the Academy isn't about teaching footy. It's about sharing perspective, raising standards and passing on the things that helped me navigate my career - both the highs and the challenges.
